Book Project
Step 1: Pick a book.
Step 2: Have your parents look the book over and sign the permission slip.
Step 3: Read the book.
Step 4: Decide on the project you prefer.
3-6 minute Book Talk OR 2-4 page paper.
If you are in a group take the requirements and times it by the number of people in your group. For example, a group of 2 changes the requirements to a 6-12 minute Book Talk OR a 4-8 page paper.
Step 5: Create the project. Be sure to include all necessary requirements.
Step 6: Turn in the paper or present the book talk on a class date of your choosing by May 13th. You can choose to turn in your paper or present on May 13th as well for no late grade.
Requirements:
· You must give a short summary and evaluate the main themes of your book.
· Be sure to relate the themes back to history and current events.
· Critique the author & the book.
· Research outside of the book and include information that relates to the themes and enhances your piece.
· Include a few interesting quotes or excerpts from your book.
· Paper – MLA format
· Book Talk – Include Visuals (you choose the format).
